Can PCS be misdiagnosed for an ectopic pregnancy?

If your doctor suspects you have pelvic congestive syndrome, then he/she will order a CT of your abdomen which would show whether or not you have an ectopic pregnancy. Also, if pregnancy is suspected, is there a positive test result?

I would say no, I have never heard of this. In pregnancy, you have a positive pregnancy test and on scans will see an ectopic usually. This does not look like PCS. I would discuss your concerns with your OB.

I have never heard of that. A pregnancy test and ultrasound are positive in one scenario and not in the next.
