How soon is it safe to have a fat reduction or skin tightening procedure after sclerotherapy?

There are treatments for fat reduction such as i-Lipo or CoolTec and body contouring such as laser rejuvenation body tightening. After one sclerotherapy session, when is it safe to have a fat reduction or body contouring procedure on the same area that was treated?

I am not aware of any concerns, but waiting 3-4 weeks should be fine.

In my opinion, it's not good to combine too many procedures at any one time. The same is true for any other surgical procedures. A human body mobilizes to heal or fight one area effectively, but not multiple areas. Having said that, in general, sclerotherapy affects only the superficial venous system, even if the GSV (greater saphenous vein) or LSV (long saphenous vein) are treated. Fat reduction procedures such as iLipo, Cooltec or laser rejuvenation are non-invasive and benign in nature. I'd give one to two weeks of time after sclerotherapy to undergo any of the procedures above.

As soon as you would like to have those treatments. There isn't a time limit after sclerotherapy.

You should wait at least 2 weeks or longer if there is bruising or discomfort. Be aware that I have seen an increase in spider veins following these kinds of procedures.

If your sclerotherapy consists of small superficial vessels, you should be able to do these treatments after several weeks. If you had larger "feeder" reticular veins, I would recommend waiting longer, for they take more time to resolve. I would speak with your sclerotherapist for his/her recommendations.

Normally I would recommend a waiting period of about three or four weeks before any laser procedure. But, i-Lipo and CoolTec use low energy lasers that really have no effect and therefore don't really have any side effects. There is no need to wait.
