Should they be 20-30mmHg or 30-40mmHg?
After sclerotherapy, you should wear 20-30 mmHg compression stockings for 24 hours without removing them. Then only daytime for two additional days.

We recommend 20-30 for spider vein treatment and 30-40 for treatment of larger veins.

Generally 30-40 is most effective, albeit difficult to put on. Long term success of any vein treatment depends on compliance with post procedure compression.

That depends on your doctor. Many recommend 30-40 mmHg, but I get good results with 20-30 mmHg so that's what I use.

Most of the vein doctors recommend 20-30 mmhg for up to 2 weeks. In the absence of evidence. I use ace wraps only for 3-4 days.

20m-30m is adequate.

Either one will work just fine provided that your wear them. Many patients find the 30-40mmHg so difficult to put on and to keep on that they just do not wear them.

It depends on the size of the vein as well as other factors. Larger veins require more compression and for longer periods of time.

20-30mmhg is usually enough.

Usually they should be 20-30 mm Hg.

20 to 30 should be adequate.

Either of those should be fine. The 20-30 compression are cheaper to purchase.

You will get different answers from different physicians. I generally ask my patients to wear 30-40 mm Hg compression hose.

It is my practice to recommend 20 to 30 mmHg stockings after foam sclerotherapy.

I advise 20-30 mm Hg, though there is more than one correct answer. Some doctors might
advocate the higher pressure, but I believe 20-30 is enough.

The strength of compression varies from physician to physician. In our clinic we mainly use 20-30 compression for sclerotherapy. However, for foam sclerotherapy, depending upon the size of the vessels treated, we may use 30-40mmHg. I do know that some centers use as low as 15-20 mmHg compression.
We typically use the 20-30 mmHg for women, Sigvaris Eversheer, and my patients tolerate and actually like to wear them.

It depends on vein size, but either of those may work. Ask your MD.

We use 20-30 mmHg as well as extra foam pads to compress the veins and minimize "trapped blood."

In our office we only use 30-40 mm.

After foam sclerotherapy, you should wear 15-20mmHg compression stockings.

I typically have my patients wear a 30-40 mmHg compression stocking.

20 to 30mmHg are considered standard after sclerotherapy.

20 to 30 is fine but 15 to 20 will also be satisfactory. I recommend compression for 48 hours post treatment.
