General Information

Laser Vein Center is a medical practice combining advanced, innovative medical technology into a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. We treat all vein problems from small cosmetic spider veins to advanced vein disease and skin ulcers. Varicose veins are a real medical issue that, left untreated, can lead to larger problems. Veins are more than a cosmetic issue.   Your visit to our office begins with diagnostics, evaluating the health of your veins. Dr. Wright sees all patients from diagnostics through treatment and into follow-up, and each treatment plan is individualized to the needs of the patient's veins. We treat with state-of-the-art methods, emphasizing minimal downtime and maximum healing. Dr. Wright regularly participates in ongoing education and training to stay advanced in care. Dr. Wright also conducts research in the field of vein disease and treatment, publishing numerous papers and studies on improvement of efficacy of method and care.

We treat patients like honored guests, with comfortable, personalized care. We seek to educate patients and their families on veins and vein disease to help them understand the importance of venous health.

Our practice is the only practice in the area that accepts and is credentialed with all of the insurance carriers in the region, which often makes us the most affordable provider of these services. Since we are an independent office, we carry no extra facility fees or hospital costs, which helps your treatment expense greatly.

Vein Treatments

With advances in ultrasound guided sclerotherapy and laser vein treatments, we  can get rid of your varicose veins comfortably and effectively with little downtime. If left untreated, vein disease can lead to significant medical complications. Because of this, most insurance companies cover treatment of symptomatic vein problems. Now varicose veins can be treated from inside the vein, a procedure called vein ablation, without the trauma associated with old-school vein stripping. The procedure is done in our medical office under local anesthesia with no scarring. Patients return to their regular activities within one to two days. Symptoms such as swelling, tenderness, restlessness, heaviness and fatigue in the legs are often caused by vein disease; treating the damaged veins relieves these uncomfortable symptoms and restores proper circulation.

We also treat spider veins, the cosmetic, superficial veins that make legs and other areas unsightly. Using sclerotherapy and a course of treatment determined by the doctor, we eradicate these annoying marks and restore beautiful legs. Spider veins may also appear on the face or hands; and as red veins on the nose. We easily treat these and the bluish veins that may cause eyes to look darkened or injured.

In addition to leg veins, there is almost no area of the body on which we have not treated either varicose or spider veins. After leg and hand veins, the most commonly treated body areas are the hands, temples/face, breast/chest and spider veins on the neck and back.

Facial veins, whether presenting as tiny red lines or matted telangiectasia are easily treated in our office with VeinWave. VeinWave is a painless, brief treatment during which radiofrequency treats the veins, causing them to close. Visible veins on the cheek or along the sides of the nose are eliminated using this device.

Many women are self-conscious about the way their hands look. Some have unusually large bulging veins that are very masculine – others object to “the old lady look” of hand veins. Plastic surgeons know that while facial surgery helps you look younger, hands often reveal your true age. Hand vein injection therapy, as done in our offices, offers a fast, simple, and virtually painless way to have younger looking hands. The results are dramatic and long lasting.

Injecting hand veins is similar to injection leg veins. Both procedures are done in our office and no anesthetic is needed.  Only medications with a long record of safety are used, and all equipment is single-use and disposable. A small cotton compression bandage is worn for two hours after treatment. The treatment is virtually painless. You may drive home immediately. All activity, without limitation, is permitted.

There is no significant risk associated with hand vein therapy. Mild hand swelling may be present for a few days and there may also be some tenderness in treated areas, but these resolve quickly.

We are a medical practice that incorporates advanced and innovative medical technology into a elegant, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Located in O'Fallon, MO, just minutes from St. Louis County, we treat all the manifestations of vein disease, an often under-appreciated disease.

Vein disease treatment
starts with a comprehensive evaluation by ultrasound of the venous circulation in your lower extremities. Our practice is the only practice in the area that accepts and is credentialed with all of the insurance carriers in the region. Our new technology continues to benefit patients by the use of EVLT to treat veins.

EVLT is a non-invasive laser treatment that has surpassed manual endoscopy and painful vein ablation as the treatment of choice for vein disease. We also reap the benefits of advances in laser medicine by offering Laser Hair Removal, skin tightening using the laser, and laser-assisted liposuction.
