I'm 9 days out from having an endovenous laser ablation (EVLA), and in my mid-inner thigh and calf, I'm having a serious numbing feeling.

I called my vascular surgeon and his office said it's fine. I did have the ultrasound two days after. No clots found, and they said the veins were closed. The area in my calf is still very tender but I'm ok with that. My main concern is the numbness--it is almost "painful" when I sit on the couch or toilet as it makes it worse. Do you think I could have nerve damage, or will this eventually go away? I would post a picture of my leg but this does not allow. 32y female. Thx

These are not typical symptoms following saphenous nerve injury. As such, nerve injury is not the underlying cause. Once localized tissue inflammation and swelling dissipates, this is likely to go away.
