I've had a number of massive blood clots and currently have bulging varicose veins in my right leg, how can I naturally treat them?

I can't think of any "natural" ways. I can tell you if you don't take care of it in the best way possible (e.g., compression hose and possibly blood thinners, etc) you could be left with a condition called post-phlebitic syndrome for the rest of your life!

There really is not a "natural" treatment for vein issues. What causes a vein to reflux is a mechanical valve defect. There is not a cream or pill available that will fix that. It is like saying that you can use a carburetor spray cleaner to fix a broken leaflet in the carburetor--it's just not going to happen. Another thing that you also need to consider is that given your clot history, you will want to have an ultrasound of your leg to see whether you actually need the varicose veins to help you circulate. A dilated vein (varicose vein) is not always a bad thing. Sometimes your body actually needs it. Treating a varicose vein that your body needs, only gives you more problems.

Can lifting weights cause blue veins to form in places such as the shoulders, arms and top of chest? Secondly, how does weight lifting affect blue reticular veins in the legs? I have both and engage in a regular exercise program that involves lifting relatively light weights on a daily basis. No underlying reflux according to my doctor.
