Do the marks made by Laser Light Therapy disappear?

I had my spider viens lasered, and yet I still have noticable brown marks on several areas still after 8 weeks. Please tell me that this is not permanent! These were the specific veins that prompted me to consider treatment in first place.

Be patient. There can be transient brown marks from either spider vein injections or laser. In experienced hands, laser works well for any underlying “feeder” reticular veins. You should be treated with sclerotherapy for long-term control. This can take several treatments.

I hoped your doctor discussed hyperpigmentation as a potential side effect of cosmetic laser vein with you. VenaQuin FADE cream can help reduce such pigmentation. Avoid sun exposure.

Pigmentation can depend upon the type of laser, the number of veins
in the area, and many other factors. This is usually not permanant.
