What treatment would I need for veins in my cheeks?

I'm not sure what I need, what would you recommend for veins that are showing up in my cheeks?

If by 'veins' you are referring to threadlike red or pink capillaries, then a vascular laser is the safest and most consistently effective treatment.

If by 'veins' you are referring to blue, purple or green appearing vessels, then sclerotherapy would usually be the treatment of choice.

There are multiple ways to treat facial veins including sclerotherapy, laser, ohmic thermolysis, fine needle radiofrequency and even removal through micro incisions. See a vein specialist for an evaluation and recommendation as to the best treatment for you.

I assume you mean facial cheeks. VeinGogh or vein wave is a great way to
take care of these.

There are several options available . The old standby is the Lyra or KTP
laser. It works, but it can take several treatments and it hurts.

The Veinwave which use Radio Waves works as well or better and is more
comfortable. IPL, Intense Pulsed Light, can help for veins but only on the
smallest veins . IPL also can help with skin pigment.

Firstly you need to be evaluated. Depending in the type of veins, larger, fine and diffuse or a combination, a yag laser or IPL may work. In our practice we try to tailor treatments and often combine therapies. Yag works well on larger veins while IPL works better with diffuse redness. We will also incorporate laser genesis to improve pore size and skin texture which is often present. Again, a thorough evaluation should be your first
