You should be fitted, as these are not one size fits all. If fitting is appropriate, they should fit well.

Elastic support hose, in my opinion, would be good for the vast majority of adults to slow down the stretching of our veins which progresses during life. I encourage patients to wear support hose even if they have only minimal vein findings.

No feel free to wear them. It will likely slow the progression of more veins.

It should not hurt, perhaps make it feel better.

It would be interesting to know why you wish to wear class 2 hose? If you are wearing them to maintain your legs because of spider veins (telangectasia) class one is adequate or even 15-20 mmHg hose. Class 2 is more appropriate for those with chronic venous issues or post-thrombosis (blood clots).

My vascular surgeon did an ultrasound and prescribed endovenous laser ablation. She also suggested that I wear compression stockings after the procedure. However, due to severe psoriasis and eczema on my feet, I cannot wear full-coverage stockings that cover them. They must always be in wet dressings, but cannot be fully covered. Would footless compression stockings be just as effective as full-coverage hose following the procedure?
