Western Vascular Institute provides minimally invasive vascular surgery in-office, as well as hospital-based surgical & endovascular procedures. We have three offices located throughout the Phoenix metro area & Payson where we are able to offer this convenient care. Our office-based vein & vascular centers house the most advanced & innovative surgical and diagnostic imaging capabilities, allowing our patients the most comfortable, appropriate care possible with the ability to recover in their homes.

Western Vascular Institute was founded in 2005 by Dr. Mitar Vranic DO. Doctor Vranic was trained by Dr. Ted Deithrich, the founder of Arizona Heart Institute. After finishing his extensive training with Dr. Deithrich, Dr. Vranic wanted to create his own group of skilled surgeons in order to provide the highest level of surgical skill and patient care possible. He has accomplished doing so by hiring the most experienced & skilled surgical team & support staff in the State. With many years of extensive vascular experience, Western Vascular Institute’s surgeons are able to provide unparalleled diagnosis & management for all venous & vascular diseases as well as exceptional patient care.
