I have never had a DVT or PE just 2 positive d Dimers. I had a Ct scan clear me for PE and a Doppler done on my leg that was bothering me, also.

Could the Doppler from 7 days ago be accurate even though I am still having weird sensations?

You've been pretty thoroughly tested to rule out DVT. I might suggest a thrombophilic blood test just to rule out any inherited clotting issues if not already done. Perhaps try a knee length compression hose of about 20-30 mmHg for prevention and talk with your doctor about taking 81 mg Aspirin daily to reduce platelet sticking. The hose may take care of any unusual sensations your are having.

D-dimer is a nonspecific test for DVT. It can be positive for many reasons having nothing to do with DVT. A negative d-dimer is accurate in determining no clot but a positive test is not definitive. See a vein specialist. If necessary, repeat the doppler.

I had an ultrasound that says the bilateral greater saphenous veins are closed, and the lesser saphenous veins are closed. Findings are the GSVs and LSVs are bilaterally closed, no perforator veins are visible, all deep veins of BLE appear patent and compressible. What is the treatment for this?

And also stated on paperwork “ultrasound shows old right gastrocnemius blood clot, treatment guidelines are very controversial.” He injured his leg four weeks ago and two weeks ago tremendous pain started. It’s weaned but he had his ultrasound today and the clot was found. No blood thinners prescribed. Bloodwork was ordered. But he was told he could travel for business on Sunday. I am very concerned. Is this a normal timeline of treatment?

I am 31 yrs old and had a C-section on Dec 25th, 2017. For the last 2 months I've been experiencing pain in my left hip and back of the upper-thigh in the morning when I wake up. It subsides after a few hours. I also experience a tingling sensation in my foot. I am overweight and I used to breastfeed my baby mostly lying on my left side. Can this be the reason or is it something else? I am worried.
