A Letter from Phlebology (COVID-19)

April 8, 2020

Dear Colleague, Author, Reviewer,

On behalf of the Editors and staff at Sage publishing we hope that you and your families are keeping well during the COVID pandemic. Many of you will be in the frontline of looking after patients that will be physically and mentally exhausting. Our thoughts are with you.

During this time of remote working and clinical prioritization, we will be accepting manuscript submissions and requesting reviews. However, we fully understand the demands on your and our reviewers’ time and hope that you understand that the peer review processes will take longer.

We also recognize that authors may require extra time to return revisions. If you are being invited to review a submitted manuscript, please rest assured that you will be given extra time to complete reviews that you accept. If you must decline the opportunity to review we will of course understand.

Please be aware that we would welcome and fast track any reports that are relevant to Phlebology and COVID-19.

If you have any queries about the journal please contact:
Lydia Cree [email protected]

We trust you and your families stay safe during this unprecedented time.

Kind Regards,

Alun Davies, Editor in Chief
