Malay Patel, MD

Dr. Malay Patel is a vascular surgeon, endovascular specialist, and vein specialist that practives in Ahmedabad, India. Many know Dr. Patel through the Vascular Society of India (Past President) and the Venous Association of India (Founding President). Dr. Patel was privileged to do Fellowships at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas; the Hope Heart Institute in Seattle, Washington; and the Thrombosis Research Institute in London. Two of the world's greatest cardiovascular surgeons, Dr. Michael DeBakey and Dr. Lester Sauvage, were his hands-on teachers. Dr. Patel is an editorial board member of the Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. He is a reviewer for the European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, Phlebology and Vein & Lymphatics.
